EU regional policy as a key for the European integration

On the 13th of November, Mrs. Ana Turcan participated in the discussion regional strategies in the EU. The topic of ‘EU regional policy as a key for the European integration’ was addressed by the members of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) in the presence of Johanna Mikl-Leitner (provincial governor, Lower Austria), Zoltán Balog (former Minister of Social Resources – Health, Social Affairs, Culture, Education, Sport, Churches and Minorities), Franz Fischler (President of the European Forum Alpbach and eh. Commissioner), Ulrike Guérot (Head of the Department for European and Democracy Research, Danube University Krems), Erhard Busek (IDM) and many more.

The Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) addresses current questions regarding the Danube region, Central, and Southeast Europe to enhance knowledge about this region and promote and develop good neighbourly relations. “
